It looks amazing!!

I just received the book today and I love the way it's set up! It has 4 flexible plans you can choose from and you can pick the one that fits your goal best. But the best part is that, from within the plan you choose, you actually pick which meals you want to make for each day.. sooo cool, can't wait to start!

The only thing I found wrong with this book is why they would use canned coconut milk and canned tahini when it is so easy to make from scratch without all the extra added sodium -- tahini is simply white sesame seeds tossed in a frying pan (watch you don't burn), let them cool put them in a miller I use the one that comes with the nutribullet, to mill all my seeds, then just add sesame oil, keep it going and adding oil until it's right texture for you ..... that's it---- why buy canned with all that sodium. That was the only two things I found in this book that didn't pass the common sense test, after all this cookbook should be all pure and natural--that's what people are shooting for. I made the pancakes for my Son and husband and myself and I must say they were delish.......

This book has a great story-line, is witty and eloquent, and sometimes a little (OK a LOT) awkward. It is one of the best books I've read but I wouldn't suggest it to children below 9 because there is cussing but only d---. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. But 10 and up I thing that It's fine. :)

You'll fall for this one!

Absolutely lovely! I found this book great in the classroom for identifying leaves with older children, but also top-notch for sharing with my little boy in kindergarten. I have been collecting books about leaves and autumn for a long time, and this is definitely one of the best ones out there. Beautiful photography, generous information and straightforward format makes this a very pleasing addition to any children's nonfiction shelf, plus a great one to take on a walk through a park on an autumn afternoon! Check out the author's other terrific book, Thunder on the Plains, another winner! Keep up the great work, Mr. Robbins...looking forward to your next release!

This is a beautiful and descriptive book. Your preschooler will love having it read to him. If he's reading it on his own, be prepared for the advanced vocabulary on the first and last page...challenging to a beginner to the point of frustration.

The book Autumn Leaves by Ken Robbins is a quality non-fiction book that I believe should be included in early childhood classroom libraries. There are numerous shapes and colors of leaves to be observed and discussed in nature. This book conveys the information on the natural world which is a criteria for informational text. The author introduces thirteen different types of leaves throughout the book focusing on the intense colors of leaves in the fall. The reader will observe a life size color print of each species of leaves. The author informs the reader about the facts of the leaves mentioning a few characteristics while enhancing the academic vocabulary of the reader. The text provides connections and examples that relate to the background of most readers. For example, the author introduces Sassafras leaves and provides a visual. The text offers the example of the Sassafras leaf resembling a mitten. This description allows the reader to connect the shape of a Sassafras leaf to a mitten. A few other types of leaves mentioned in the book are the Linden, Hickory, Maple, and Sweet Gum. A Must Read for Anyone

First of all, this book is a daily reader/devotional with a thought for the day about leading & understanding people. In fact, it's useful for anyone who deals with people at all. This is one of my regular morning readings before I head out the door. If I recall correctly, CargoLargo listed this as "almost like new" -- the only "almost like" things I could find were a worn outer paper jacket & a little smudging on the page edges. At the lower price, those are more than acceptable. And CargoLargo shipped it quickly -- it actually arrived several days before I expected it. From the book to the price to the vendor, my experience was A-1!
